With the approaching storm, we all are facing many uncertainties in the next few days. For all of our firefighters, EMS and law enforcement personnel that have been or will be called back to duty we realize your families will be on your minds. Many families have already left for a safer haven away from the coast. While most of our Team members are firefighters or paramedics and have been recalled themselves, there are many of us that can and will be available to check on your families.
Many of us have weathered these storms in the past and know that anxiety levels can reach a high during the separation from your loved ones. I personally remember that during Hugo just being able to talk to someone by phone helped so much. We will have team members available to speak to you or your family members. So, if you are on duty and need for us to check on your families or provide assistance for you, let us know by text or by calling 843-609-8300. Encourage your family to reach out to us at the same number as you may not be available while on duty.
