What a better way to spend a warm Spring day than roaming a “boneyard” scavenging parts off of an old fire truck. Thanks to our brothers of the Orangeburg County Fire District who let us come up to strip an old fire engine heading for the scrap yard. We swarmed the old truck like a bunch of ants at a church picnic! We gathered enough parts to take care of several problems with “Bullet” and “Big John” and picked up a windshield to replace a broken one in the “Road Runner”. It was a good day for our old fleet!
